We are made of star stuff ... how the atoms in our bodies come from stars through star death.
Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, President of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Visiting Professor of Astrophysics at Oxford University.
Jocelyn, who discovered pulsars in the 1960s, talks about the extraordinary processes in the death throes of giant stars which produce the material from which new stars, our own solar system, and ultimately life on earth are formed.
